One of the most beautiful pubs in the Town was called the Fox. Located in what was then 32 Dunsatble road it was built in the 1920s in an enchanting Tudor style. Unfortunately this pub was demolished to make way for what is now a roundabout in a busy motor-way intersection. On the pub sign was this poem: "I am a Fox you plainly see There can no harm be found in me For Lawrence Clarke hath set me here To let you know he sells good beer"
