The Library Theatre

The main venue for Theatre and alternative cinema is the Library. The Library hosts a series of shows and movies ranging from music performances, children's theatre to professional and adult theatre.

The Library has categorised their shows into the following sections:

Professional Series:
These are established performers and adult theatre. Tickets are usually about £8.

Dragon Club:
This is the children's theatre and movies. Usually they are short productions or puppet shows lasting about 45 to 50 minutes. Ticket prices are about £2.50 to £3. Movies shown are usually full features for example "Chicken Run" etc.

Amateur Series:
Amateur productions mainly local performers. Theatre groups here include "Luton Light", "Presbyn Players" and "The Griffin Players". Typical ticket prices are £7 to £8.

Music on Mondays:
Concerts and classical renditions. Most performances are presented by the Luton Music Club(see link below) and ticket prices are typically £10.

Films:
Screenings of World movies and Art movies. Typical ticket price £4.50.
